WTD: So, Elvis '77, please tell your story to the
brethren: Who/What/Where/When/Why?
RK: We are a three piece loud ass rock band. We all live in Brooklyn, but spend
a lot of time in the city -- working, hanging out, etc. Our lineup is: Dennis -
guitar/vox, Ian - drums, RK - bass/vox. The band started back in '97. Dennis
and I had just broken up our first band, Truck Turner, and the band that Ian
was in, called Tucker, was drawing to a close. So, to make a long story longer,
we needed a drummer and Ian needed to drum. So we started fresh with a new name
and new songs. The name is just a piss-take on the last days of Elvis; you
know, the fat, pill popping, Vegas style one.
